This Dark Golden boy is available as I was considering him for myself. However, as much as I love him, I am growing out another puppy at the moment and must let this boy go to a forever home. He is 13 weeks old, crate trained, follows us to the door for potty breaks, and enjoys playing with other puppies a lot. He has excellent retriever instincts, he would make a great addition to a hunting home, or family who enjoys retriever games like fetch, playing ball etc. He has a great work ethic, so if you have always enjoyed training your previous dogs, this boy would be right up your alley to be your next training partner. He is a good follower on off leash walks, sits “long and calm” to accept affection, and has a bright happy disposition. It’s easy to distinguish these two boys apart, one is as dark and the other is light in colour! We often get asked for a cream puppy, especially males. So if you are hoping for a cream puppy, this could be a match for your home. He enjoys sitting or standing to accept affection (he stayed “long and calm” too), has an excellent retriever instinct, he is responsive when called, follows me very well on off leash adventure walks, is crate trained, comes along to the door for outside potty breaks, and like all our puppies has been vet checked and dewormed. His parents are health cleared and will enjoy meeting you when you visit with us here at the kennel.

Hickory and Oscar – This Litter is Fully Sold

This much anticipated pairing has produced 3 boys, and 3 girls. This litter is fully sold.

Hickory has been one of my most successful dogs in the show ring of all my years of breeding. Further, she has produced exceptional dogs for me in her previous two litters. Beautiful examples of the breed standard, excellent health, and great reports from her puppy families throughout each litter. It’s tough realizing this will be her retirement litter. She and I will have to take up the challenge of obedience, or tracking, or some other working titles in her retirement. Plus of course we will finish her Grand Championship after this litter, she is well on her way to it.

Oscar brings an excellent Classic British Style pedigree to us, thus why its been so anticipated as an arrival.  Many noted dogs for beauty and soundness stand behind him. He himself is a wonderful dog to spend time with in his home. He excels as a companion dog, and in the show ring. He is at ease in both settings.
