Champion Goldnote’s Prima Bella Cantor “Bunty”
Bunty, born April 22/03 is the in-residence matriarch you’ll meet, on your visit to Goldnote. Although her successful breeding career ended years ago, her beautiful British type continues in her children and grandchildren.
Taking her matriarchal duties seriously she continues to check in on the whelping boxes of other Goldnote Moms. It’s not uncommon for her to clean a newborn puppy, have a mid-day snack from a mother’s food dish or welcome Goldnote visitors to our puppy room. Although she herself was not a fan of other dogs “helping” with her little ones, she seems to have no issue with offering support to new Mom’s with fussy babies.
Bunty enjoys taking car trips, walks in the south field of Dogwood Farm, summer vacations at the McCallum’s Muskoka cottage or sleeping on the living room couch. Bunty and Dad are embarking on a new adventure of Rally Obedience just to keep things mentally challenging and different.
