1 Year Old Dogs – Presently We Are Accepting Inquiries for Older Dogs – March 26, 2024.

We are currently considering excellent homes for one year old dogs. We have been “growing out” dogs to become part of the breeding program. Recently though I have decided to place two one year old dogs into forever homes in favour of keeping their brother or sister for the breeding program. We are looking for a forever home for each of them, not one home for both of them.

Over the years, we have moved towards a more holistic and natural approach to caring for our dogs. We now recommend limited vaccines, natural approaches to flea, tick and heartworm prevention where possible. A firm commitment to nutrition is critical when we place our older dogs. These dogs could be changed to kibble from a full raw diet, BUT a slow and patient transition would be required by their new families.

If you would like to be considered as a home for one of these dogs please complete a contact form.

Retired Stud Dog – Whistler Has Found A Forever Home

Whistler has found a forever home. Whistler will be summering at the family cottage in Muskoka. Of course he will be spoiled year round by his new family who are a long time Golden family.  A semi-retired couple have taken Whister and are looking forward to his affectionate manner and companionship that will also keep them active with long walks and retriever games.

Whistler is a 6.5 year old neutered male Golden Retriever. He is now retired as a stud dog and needs a loving forever home. Whistler has stolen the hearts of family after family who have visited with us over the years. Whistler is father to four lovely litters, so he has charmed many families with his exceptional good looks and affectionate disposition. Whistler is happy as a house dog, is fully house trained, walks nicely on a leash, loves retriever games and walks in our fields. Whistler is not suited to dog parks or doggie day care settings though, so please bear this in mind when considering Whistler as an addition to your home. Please contact us for further details about Whistler.
